I often get asked this question and my short answer is: no.

Dosage and frequency of use also does not seem to play a role in tolerance building.

What CBD is known for, however, is its lack of side effects. This has always been the first thing I tell people who are new to CBD oil and often worry that they might become dependent on it or just simply get used to it after a while.

The reason that CBD does not lead to dependency and prevents resensitization is because it acts at the CB2 (not CB1) receptors.

We should not forget that tolerance also means withdrawal symptoms, which are not known for CBD.

Long story short: it is unlikely that you will build a tolerance to CBD oil and you will not become dependant on CBD.
